The Open Door Initiative is a better access program to help those with financial vulnerability receive the care they need and deserve.

The inception of this program was a response to many GPs and nurses reporting that patients are not receiving the psychological care they need due to their inability to cover gap fee costs.
This initiative waves our gap fee costs and only uses the Medicare Bulk-Billing scheme as remuneration for our psychologist consultations.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this program you are required to have one of the following with your name on it:

Health Care Card
Pensioner Concession Card

E-Mail a photo of your card to pathways.psychologyclinic@gmail.com
with your contact number so that we can confirm your eligibility and book your appointment.

Please note that you are still required to bring a Mental Health Care Plan (GP referral) to your appointment in order for Medicare Bulk-Billing to cover the cost of your consultations.
​
Mental Health Care Plans only cover 10 sessions per year from the date the plan was made.
